The Stats Dashboard gives you a clear, real-time view of your site’s member activity and checkout performance. The dashboard provides key performance indicators (KPIs) across two main categories:
Member Metrics - Insights about your platform's users
Checkout Metrics - Financial and transaction data
All metrics are available in four time periods:
Today (compared with yesterday)
Month (compared with previous month)
Year (compared with previous year)
All-Time (historical totals)
Note: If you sell in multiple currencies you can switch the checkout analytics to report sales data for a specific currency.
Use the date filter across the top: Today, This Month, This Year, or All Time. The default view is Today.
What changes when you switch dates?
Each metric updates to show the value for that period plus a percentage change versus the previous comparable period (e.g., Today vs Yesterday, This Month vs Last Month, This Year vs Last Year).
Click the currency dropdown next to the date filter and select a currency to view checkout analytics (orders and sales) for that currency. For example, switch from USD to AUD or EUR to see those sales only.
Note: If you only sell in a single currency, then you will not see a currency dropdown option.
Each card shows: Metric title → Value → % change vs previous period.
New Members – Count of new members (excluding Admins) in the selected period. Example: “2 new members today” with a “100% increase on yesterday.”
Total Members – Current total of active members (excluding Admins) on your site (e.g., 210), with the % change vs yesterday.
Active Members – Members (excluding Admins) who logged in during the selected period (e.g., 2 today or 13 this month).
New Posts – Number of new community posts (excluding Admins posts) in the period (e.g., two this month, 100% up on last month).
Note: When a member shares a new post in your community, it will be immediately counted as a new post on the stats dashboard even if it is awaiting moderation.
These cards reflect the selected currency (see step 2).
Orders – Number of orders (Pending or cancelled orders are excluded) in the selected period (e.g., “2 orders today,” 100% up on yesterday)..
Note: If a customer buys your main product (with/without order bump) and also an upsell. The main product (with/without order bump) and upsell are treated as two separate purchases and will appear on your stats dashboard as two orders.
Sales – Monetary volume of sales in the period. Example: USD $117 today.
Active Subscriptions – Number of active recurring subscription plans (e.g., 32; “0% change on yesterday”).
Note: Active subscriptions includes customers on trials.
Note: Buyers on instalment plans will show in your Stripe account stats as a subscription while the instalment plan is active but will not show as an active subscription in your Kourses dashboard).
Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) – The monetary value of sales made each month divided by the number of paying members on recurring payments.
The calculation also factors in:
VAT rates based on customer location
Forever coupons (percentage or fixed amount)
Only includes active subscriptions as of the end date of the period
Each metric includes:
Value: The current figure
Difference: Percentage change from previous period
Trend: Indicated by "+" (positive) or "-" (negative)
For the "All-Time" view, difference is always 0 and trend is "-" as there's no comparison period.
If you want to double-check orders and totals:
Go to Sales from the top navigation.
Compare the listed orders to your Orders and Sales cards on the dashboard.
Remember to match the currency, e.g., the dashboard filtered to USD will only reflect the USD orders you see on the Sales screen.
You’re likely viewing a different currency on the dashboard than the orders you’re checking on the Sales page. Switch the dashboard currency to match.
It’s the increase or decrease versus the previous comparable period (e.g., This Month vs Last Month).
Stripe shows both installment plans and trials as “subscriptions,” but the Stats Dashboard only counts active recurring plans (including trials, but excluding installment schedules).
As soon as a member account is created (excluding Admins), even if they haven’t logged in yet.
MRR is a projection based on recurring revenue, not a direct sum of one-time or installment sales. One-time product sales are excluded.
Posts are counted immediately, even if awaiting moderation or later deleted.
Figures update in near real-time (within a few minutes) after a transaction or member action.
